| This site was created by Rick
Shriver, Associate Professor of Communication and Coordinator of Electronic
Media at Ohio University's Zanesville campus. All the sounds and photos
were collected during Professor Shriver's Fulbright Scholarship to Malaysia in
1999-2000. A joint lecturing/research project, Shriver's Fulbright
activity involved designing and building a
recording
studio at the Universiti Putra Malaysia,
teaching
courses in sound recording and electro-acoustic music production, and
researching Malaysia media and music.
